- Personal attacks - criticise the ideas if you want, not the person
- Anything that's ideological without any sort of reasoning - our call; you'll get the gist soon enough
- Self-promotion or other advertising - this is our blog; get your own
- OTT swearing - not being a bunch of saints; it's just that any genuine discussion about ideas and meaning doesn't require swearing. It also makes the site filter easier!
- Content that's not on the topic - purely for trolling, hassling or annoying.
